What are Manufactured Homes and Park Model Homes?
A manufactured home is a large mobile home, usually stationary, built to HUD standards, and available in single, double, or triple wide sizes, designed to fit in Manufactured Home Communities. A park model home, meanwhile, is a type of recreational vehicle, a smaller, single-wide home that can be placed in RV resorts, campgrounds, or spots where small trailers are allowed.
Park models generally have one or two bedrooms, one bathroom, an eat-in kitchen, and a living room, all under 500 square feet. Their compact size makes them easier to clean and maintain compared to manufactured homes.
